“Jordfast” opens today at Samsø Museum (Denmark)

Jordfast is a photographic portrait exploring Samsø’s local people, its landscapes and architecture. A rural culture that is fundamental for this Danish island’s identity. In collaboration with Samsø Museum, the project has been developed in an etnographic and at the same time artistic way. Started in 2013 and ended in 2020, the result of this unique project has now become an exhibition and a book. The exhibition will be hanging at the museum in Tranebjerg until the end of the summer. At the museum it is also possible to purchase the book recently printed at Narayana Press.

Samsø Museum is part of Moesgaard Museum, one of the most important museum for ethnography and cultural history in Scandinavia.
