“Man and Nature in Latvia” opening at Madona Museum

“Man and Nature in Latvia”, photo documentary about the rural culture of the XXI century is opening today at Madona Local history and Art Museum. 

Madona is a beautiful old town in the Vidzeme region. The b&w photographs are analogue handmade prints, documenting 

the landscape, the people in their everyday surroundings and the rural architecture of the four historical Latvian regions: Kurzeme, Latgale, Vidzeme and Zemgale.

The photographs have been taken from 2013 until 2017.
