Upcoming new exhibition at Estonian Open Air Museum

The exhibition “Man and Nature in Estonia” is going to be opened at the Estonian Open Air Museum on June 1. Around 90 b/w analogue prints of portraits, landscape and traditional rural architecture. The photographs have been taken in several regions of Estonia, like Raplamaa, Jogevamaa, the islands of Muhu and Saaremaa. 

The Estonian Open Air Museum is a life-sized reconstruction of an 18th-century rural/fishing village, which comes complete with church, inn, schoolhouse and several mills. The site, located 8 km to the west of Tallinn city center at Rocca al Mare was established in 1957. The museum showcases 68 farmhouses assembled into twelve farmyards from North, South, East and West Estonia.
