This particular project started in the autumn of 2011 and ended in 2012. It was carried out as a travel by foot on the Danish island of Ærø.
The main focus of the documentary are the people met throughout the travel as well as the nature of the island, shaped by the work of man.
The project was shot entirely using a Rolleiflex 6×6 camera. It is a collaboration with Ærø Museum and The Danish Open Air Museum and was also exhibited at the Copenhagen Photo Festival 2013.
