New exhibition opening at Ogre Museum
“Man and Nature in Latvia” will soon be exhibited at The Ogre Museum of History and Art. The museum is located in a beautiful newly renovated building from Soviet time in the middle of Ogre. The town, situated in the central part of Latvia, it’s know for its past health resort activities between the middle of 19th century until
the Second World War.
The 50 b&w photographs are analogue handmade prints. They depict the landscape, the people and the rural architecture of the four historical regions of Latvia: Kurzeme, Latgale, Vidzeme and Zemgale.
